Gerard
Beenen Biography

Gerard Beenen has worked as CEO, technology entrepreneur
and Bain & Company consultant. His passion for learning,
mentoring and solving real world management problems led
him back to graduate school at Carnegie Mellon University,
where he is now completing a Ph.D. in organizational behavior
and theory.
In
addition to his strategy consulting expertise, Gerard
is widely known for his expertise in accelerating leadership
development and measuring associated performance improvements.
Gerard has worked and consulted in a variety of sectors
including healthcare, technology, transportation, financial
services, manufacturing and public service.
Gerard
has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg
School where he was selected as “Outstanding Student
in Organizational Behavior”, and an MA from Fuller
Seminary in Pasadena, California. He is the book and film
review editor for Ethix, the bimonthly publication of
the Institute for Business, Technology and Ethics (www.ethix.org).
An
avid surfer and native Californian, Gerard is landlocked
for now in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he enjoys any
spare time he can get by the swimming pool with his wife
Eun, and two young children, Matthew and Hannah.
