Brad
Hall Biography

Brad Hall has been a leadership and organization executive
for some of the world’s most recognized companies.
Brad’s
most recent corporate position was as Senior Vice President,
Global Talent Management for ABN AMRO Bank in Amsterdam
– one of the largest 20 financial institutions in
the world.
Prior
to ABN AMRO, Brad worked on in Tokyo for IBM’s Asia-Pacific
region where he held the largest corporate executive and
organization development role of any organization in Asia
(60,000 employees and $25B in revenue). During his tenure,
IBM was twice ranked #1 in the world in Chief Executive
Magazine’s “Top Company for Leaders”.
IBM’s leaders are consistently regarded as some
of the very best in the world.
Upon
returning to IBM headquarters in New York, Brad served
as executive coach and consultant for two of IBMs six
global business unit general managers and their executive
leadership teams (i.e., IBM Personal Computers and IBM
Semiconductors). He was also assigned to design the organization
and corporate culture for Lenovo, one of the first global
companies in the history of China.
Previous
to IBM, Brad was Director, HR and Training for AT&T
Global Services, a $12B unit of AT&T where eighteen
months after he began his tenure, AT&T Global Services
HR placed second in the world in the PriceWaterhouseCoopers/Linkage
award for “HR Innovation” and his training
organization won a Society for Human Resource Management
(SHRM) award for “Best Corporate Training Program.”
Brad
also served as Director, Organization Design for McDonald's
Corporation five years out of graduate school where he
became McDonald’s first organization development
professional.
Brad
now consults and teaches at Duke University’s Corporate
Education program.
Brad
completed his Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology
at Tulane University with a dissertation focusing on people
management practices of Japanese and U.S. corporations.
He speaks fluent Japanese.
